Chalice Committee report: One chalice available.
Reading of Applicants: Bill Jordan interested in 4th Degree. Nomination has been read. Alan Bobo and Chris Faminio may also have an interest. There are logistical issues with Fall Exemplification.
Old Business:
Christmas Party – Tom continuing to research catering. Old Horseshoe not interested due to time of year. Aiming for 12/4 6:00pm date at Tom’s.
Friends of the Poor Walk – Walk is October 3rd St. Francis De Sales HS. All monies got back to local parish. Goal is to exceed $43,000 total from last year.
Blue Mass – Blue Mass will be held Friday Sept. 11th at St. Timothy’s.1088 Thomas Lane,
Columbus, Ohio 43220.
New Business:
Thank you for Honor Guard at Jack McKensie funeral.
Trying to establish standard practices at various events (First Communions, Funerals, Community Affairs etc.). If you have any questions on processes or procedures contact Terry.
HenPen Meeting- Training for each of the various offices in Assembly. Oct 2nd -4th.
Ad Book Rebate received – $55.00
Looking for 4-5 members that would be able to help at the Cathedral. Please contact Doug if interested.
Honor Guard request – Mother Angeline McCrory Center Oct 25th 10:00am. Address – 5199 East Broad Street Columbus OH 43213
VA Hospital Christmas Party – Annual Christmas party in December.
Coat Drive – Coat drive will be in November. Goal is to double amount of donations last year (40 coats last year)
Fall Exemplification Ad – Motion to donate $100 to Fall Exemplification Ad, Motion passed. Tentative date Sat. before Thanksgiving. Wait until next meeting for Payee information.
Basket for Spring Exemplification – Please have ideas for basket prior to December meeting.
